When I recently asked for suggestions for what to do with tons of 2-1/2" squares, Jan/Colorful Fabriholic suggested a pattern by Cynthia Brunz - Geese Migration - which I now realize is exactly why I cut those squares in March 2018!
I loved making that design and it is certainly worth reprising. Thank you, Jan, for tweaking my memory.!
Oh how funny, well yes that pattern is perfect for those squares! I still need to finish mine, I am still fascinated with that pattern. Now to find the blocks I finished - lol!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work, glad you got to use those 2.5" sweeties!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're back to sewing. This is a great design and with so many squares sewn you have a great start.
ReplyDeleteOMG, what a coincidence! I love your original Geese Migration; can't wait to see what you do with the rest of your squares.
ReplyDeleteMemory is just a funny thing. Sometimes it just takes a trigger to bring it all back. Geese migration is on my bucket list. I look forward to seeing how your version works out.
ReplyDeleteThis quilt has been on my list of quilts to make for a long time. I remember when you made your first one... it inspired me to add it to my list. Maybe soon??
