And yet here I am starting another Bonnie Hunter mystery ..
I think her colors spoke to me, or maybe I'm just looking for a sewing diversion.
The foot pedal has been ordered but I was notified it is currently on back-order from their supplier. So I stitch on...
I've never participated in a BH mystery, but I can see why they are so appealing - the finished quilts are beautiful! You're starting out with some pretty colors there, Libby. Keep going!
ReplyDeleteI keep telling myself don't even look at it!! I have enough other projects that I don't need that one too - sorry you need to wait for your foot pedal.
ReplyDeleteIt's just so hard to resist that pull. I've started it as well, my goal is to keep up this year. That won't happen, but I can still hope that's the case till the next clue comes out on Friday! Hope the foot pedal isn't back ordered for long.
ReplyDeleteI like your colors! Hope your pedal comes sooner than expected.
ReplyDeleteGreat! I decided Friday morning that I would make it. I've made them for years and regretted not doing last year's. Hoping to get that one started after this one is finished, unless another squirrel gets my attention LOL.
ReplyDeleteHah! I am the same way. Twice I've created flimsies that I did.not.like and skipped the following years, only to find out that those were designs I did like. (Grand Illusion (grand DISillusion)/Allietare and then Rhododendron Trail/Chilhowie). So this year I am in. Two sets of flying geese so far.
ReplyDeleteI have never done her mystery, but I love watching others put theirs together. I love your aqua start!
ReplyDeleteI'm not one for mystery quilts but I enjoy watching you all make hers. That is very pretty fabric!
ReplyDeleteI've saved the clues and hope to make one at some point, but would rather see the finished project before I invest the time. 🙂
ReplyDeleteDid you have an electricton, (or someone that knows how to fix thing like that) look at your foot pedal? Since you ordered another one it wouldn't hurt to ask
