Not Quite
My One Monthly Goal (OMG) was to finish the center portion of what I'm calling Poppies. I posted on my progress here.

... and that's as far as I got. Two trips out of town and minor crises at home slowed me down. So I came close to accomplishing my goal and I'm OK with that. It should only be a matter of days before I can call it done.
I'm reporting in with Patty at Elm Street Quilts for the month-end talley. Hop over there to see how other quilters managed their OMGs.
What a great top this is -- your design is stellar. The additional diamonds for the outside sashing will really finish it off nicely. I think the name is perfect, too, especially with those "pops" of red! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great setting solution. If we don't get done, making progress is the next best thing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! The sashing adds so much to your design. Great job!
ReplyDeleteGreat progress on your quilt top. Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal.
ReplyDeletePoppies is beautiful and I look forward to seeing it when you have it completed. Great job!
ReplyDeleteWell, I hope your life calms down enough that you get time for important stuff - you know, like sewing...
ReplyDeleteI love the star sashing for this quilt. So dramatic!
Progress is good. Too bad that LIFE got in the way of a finish!!!
ReplyDeleteClose often has to be good enough for me too. This is a beauty.
ReplyDeleteProgress is progress, no matter how small. For me, just having the goal to motivate me to work on a project even just a little bit, is considered a win in my book.
