Friday Finish

Not much going on in the sewing department this week.  But I did manage to finish the binding on Grandson #2's quilt.

I didn't have time to get a picture of the finished product as I was stuffing it into the gift bag at the last minute.  The pattern is Bonnie Hunter's "Startstruck".  My LAQ used the pantograph Star Dance in a khaki tan that really shows up against the red border.

GS#2 Graduation Quilt

He is graduating from Northeastern University in Boston today.  We are very proud of him and his big brother who recently was promoted to VP at his place of work.

    1. To be honest, I didn't really like the quilt until I added the borders. It's one of those quilts that switches on you -- first you see the light stars, then you see the dark ones ....

    1. Thanks, Katy. If I'd been thinking ahead, I would have used school colors, but at least these are "manly" colors. Can't wait to get his reaction.
