Please Adopt Me, Two

Cool Cats

UPDATE: Winner has been notified.

Cynthia Brunz over at Quilting is More Fun than Housework is hosting an Orphan Adoption event this weekend. She does this twice a year. Go check it out and then find someone's UFO to adopt!

Two cat panels, with borders attached, the perfect size for a crib or car seat.

Pretty in Pink

Beauty in Blue
Each measures 37" x 55". Ready for you to sandwich and quilt. Or add more rounds to make a larger quilt!

Quilt shop quality cotton fabrics.

Pebble border
Cute cat paw prints on purple ground.
Retro border
These will go as a pair.  Anyone with twins in the future?

There is no charge and I have no preference how you use what you receive. I will pay the shipping. I am located in Tennessee/USA and will only ship within the US.

This adoption is open until midnight CDT on Monday, March 21.

Leave a comment below and tell me what you have in mind. My random number generator (randomly known as my Main Man) will randomly select the winner totally at random. Just be sure that there is a way I can get in touch with you to get your snail mail address (in other words, if you're a "no reply" commenter, include a current email address).

And don't forget to check out the other orphans up for adoption.

And it would be nice if you come back here from time to time to see what I'm up to.

  3. I donate to Quilts for Kids and also have a quilt ministry at our church. I just got a midarm and these would be perfect to be part of my learning curve. Thanks for giving these up. Doris dmiller124@att.net

  4. So generous! That fabric would be a wonderful addition to my stash of fabric for donation quilts! I make quilts for the DC General Homeless Shelter (https://dcgeneralquilters.wordpress.com). I donated 3 quilts last December, and now I have 4 tops ready to be quilted! New fabric is always appreciated!

  6. I love cats, live and printed on fabric, so these would be fun to work with making quilts for Project Linus.

  7. Libby, maybe we could just meet and no shipping! I'm in Knoxville. The cats are great! We have 5 pregnant moms that I know of in our church right now, maybe six. I'd love to give a pair of quilts to a new baby and an older sibling. I have just the family in mind. I have fabric to add an extra border to one of those. Thanks for your offer of these two. Anyone you choose will be a perfect fit, I'm sure! dezertsuz at gmail, desertskyquilts.wordpress.com

  8. Oh my gosh, I love those! I might fold them in half and create some pillow cases for our living room pillows (we have 2 rescued cats, btw). Thanks and God bless! ILuvTheEucharist (at) aol.com

  10. Libby, for
Sewing/quilting for new parents and donating to our local Human Services agencies in several cities, as many are w/o the financial resources to purchase nursery items or clothing for their newborns or other age children. My local chapter (Hampton Roads in Virginia)of the American Sewing Guild could use both to finish the quilts for said agencies. Thank you for your kindness.
