Stop the Presses!!

... and don't believe anything I say

I know I said I was only going to use my stash to finish off the shoofly baby quilt.


But a local quilt shop is going out of business ... and I felt compelled to show my support one last time ... and everything in the store was 20% off ... and, well, I found the perfect border fabric.

I bought enough to go on the back, if I'm so inclined. Or I might be able to eek out a third quilt from the Scrumptious scraps.

    Of course you needed to support the quilt shop one last time! (Just call on me any time you need help rationalizin.LOL.) It is a grat border/backing fabric. And will become an adorable quilt.

    The floral print is a wonderful choice. A not-so-local shop (Touch of Amish) is closing. I got an "exclusive" invitation (probably sent to the entire mailing list) to the before-we-tell-the-public sale. Nope, I am NOT going to go. It is October as I write this and I don't want to buy any more fabric than I have to. (Wish me luck.)

    That Moda print is perfect! It was meant to be. And if it inspires you to finish a third quilt from your Scrumptious stash, that's a win for using up stash, too.

    You absolutely HAD to buy that fabric!!! It looks like it was MADE for that quilt and the stash will wait for the NEXT quilt. :o)
