Happy Dance Friday

Grandson #1

You bet, I'm doing a happy dance today!

GS#1 turns 30 this weekend.  He's VP of a start-up energy company in DC. And he's still single  ... just sayin' ....

GS#2 is bringing a girl friend home to visit in July.  Should I start a new quilt???

GS#3 graduated middle school with all As and perfect attendance.  I'm sure his little sister did just as well -- she's heading off to middle school next year -- but no one tweeted about her .... sigh.

And the new cabinets fit perfectly under my layout table!

New/Old Cabinets from Habitat Re-Store

Dare we compare?

Before

A few more cabinets remain in the back of my van.  More stuff to be put away.  But ...

I am, indeed, a HAPPY GIRL!!

    1. Thanks for stopping by! I'm still putting things in all those drawers. It will be SO nice to have all the little clutter out of sight.

    1. Thanks for visiting. Yes, the treasures keep emerging. Wish I could hop right on them and finish a few, but other deadlines are looming.....

  3. All good reasons for Happy Dancing :) GS1's a cutie, GS2 - couldn't hurt to start - it's as good a reason as any to start a new quilt, GS3 - congrats on grades & attendance...and moving on to High School!. Your quilting/fabric stash place is looking good...oh to have such cabinets...well, now that Marty's working again, I may get that wish fulfilled! I never thought of checking at the Habitat Restore thinking I'd just get what I needed at one of the big box hardware stores or that Scandinavian style furnishings place.

    1. GS#3 is autistic. I don't make a big deal of that in my blog. When my son asked him if he was surprised that everyone cheered when he got his awards, he said, "No, everyone admires me. In fact, a sixth grader asked for my autograph.".
