Travel means Trouble ...

... in the fabric department

Wilmington Prints
"The Cardinal Rule"

I was restrained at the shops I visited last weekend and only picked up a few gray fat quarters.  1.5 yards

Then, on the trip home from Illinois Monday  22.5 yards jumped into my basket at Hancocks of Paducah -- mostly Christmas fabrics for gifts I have already started.

Later in the week I went to a local quilt shop for a couple yards of white-on-white to go with the Christmas panel.  I also picked up a pack of Wilmington Prints WOW strips which have already been sewn into 4-patches with a roll of bright strips my Secret Sister gave me for my birthday. 3.5 yards

  1. Ouch! But what can I say, it was Hancocks of Paducah! And it sounds like useful stuff. We'll see what I bring back this week!

  2. Just think of all of the lovely things that will come out of your newly acquired yardage!

  3. Hancock's of Paducah is a dangerous place for would-be stash busters. I should know; I succumbed to their charms big time in April. Your purchases sound like you'll use them up quickly, though. And finishes prior to Christmas will count as stash out this year.

  4. Fun! And you're already starting your Christmas gifts, too! Looking forward to seeing the finished products. Sharon B in Franklin
