Any guesses?
Other than the shoes on the floor ...
In my haste to get the 4th row sewn on before leaving town I managed to reverse a few pieces!
What's even worse?
Hard to see on the white tile floor ... I'm short 3 pieces of background!!!
I sure hope I left it at home.
And I'm glad I brought another project to work on while DH is taking SIL to doctors.
Sigh ...
Oops! Thank God for seam rippers!
ReplyDeleteOh NO!!! Well... at least you have a bit that you can get done. (What, with the ripping and re-sewing.) There's always that next row to assemble and attach, too. Sorry about your OOOPS!! That's what ALWAYS happens to me when I'm in a hurry to got things together.
ReplyDeleteOh, dear!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I do that hurry-errors thing, too...
Consolation: you discovered the mispiecing before you finished the top (and certainly before you quilted it)!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry as I know what a awful time it is to unsew so many seams. We have all done that and the sad part is I know for me it will happen again.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time at the beach and hope SIL is ok.
It'll all come together for you. I am completely impressed with your progress thus far!
ReplyDeleteI hate when that happens! And of course you don't know it until you look at the picture you took! Happy unsewing...😉
ReplyDeleteOh whoops! You'll find them when you get home. Your version turned out beautifully.
ReplyDeleteOh goodness! That's totally something that I'd do! Hope the missing pieces turn up.
