Tracks in the snow

I haven't been able to identify them, but based on the deer tracks going through the deeper snow on the walkway I'm thinking maybe a baby deer. Still kinda creepy and exciting at the same time, having wildlife so close to the house. I guess it's time to make sure the raccoons haven't returned to the eaves ...
Hmm... Good luck with the track identification!!
ReplyDeleteRaccoon and deer are pests around here! The deer eat my roses and fruit trees. The deer tracks here are usually just two long marks but those don't look like raccoon prints either. Yuck. We had so many raccoons one year that we bought wolf urine and sprinkled it around the deck to repel them because I was having nightmares that they would come in the screen door some night and be munching on food in the kitchen when I woke up. The wolf urine worked!
ReplyDeleteWe see deer in the fields near us, but they don't dare come up the street, too many dogs. Raccoons are real pests. Hopefully they haven't aren't hanging out in the eves.
