Another Baby Quilt

Still cleaning, I keep coming up with interesting opportunities.  This one started as a class sample when I was teaching a 3-D waffle technique.  The interesting part of this particular example is it started with 6-inch charm squares that were exchanged in an early guild.

All I had to do today was add borders to make it at least 36", cut a back, and make a binding.

The rest of the day was devoted to organizing potential projects for the retreat.

Participating in ScrapHappy Saturday at soscrappy.

  1. Wow! You really picked fabrics that show off the depth of this design. No wonder you were teaching the class! It's a great finish. Have fun deciding on retreat projects!

  4. 3D waffles? I'm intrigued. The sharp contrast in tone makes this look particularly Escher-esque.

  5. That is neat, Libby! I clicked on your photo to enlarge it, and finally see how you make that kind of block - so interesting. Hope you're having fun on your retreat!
