Ouch!!

I fell off the wagon.  But who can resist a sale where all you can fit in a grocery sack is $10???  I actually had room for more, but didn't want to be greedy.  So this is what I came home with:

Florals

Three large pieces of floral which may be passed on to the guild for comfort quilts.  I say "may" because some of these almost-solids would be mighty nice with them:

Almost Solid TOTs
Bottom Line:

In this Week: 20 yds
In year to Date:  20 yds
Out this Week: 0 yards
Out Year to Date: 18.5 yards
Net Used for 2014: -1.5 yards

Not bad, really, in the grand scheme of things.  I'll take $.50/yard any day!

  1. Pretty colors! $.50 a yard sounds too good to pass up.

  2. No reason to feel greedy, hard to pass up such a great deal. Looking forward to seeing the quilts you create with these new fabrics.

  3. I couldn't find an email to respond to the comment you left on my blog. Thanks for the tip about using sheets for foundation piecing.

  4. I know very few people that could pass up a sale like that. I think I actually have some of the yellow daisy fabric!

    1. That was my favorite piece. The florals are all 3-4 yards so will work well as backs on small quilts.

    1. A lady was de-stashing. The guild received 55 packing boxes full. At the end of the day only 5 boxes remained.

  6. That's quite a de-stashing effort on someone's part. It's definitely hard to pass up that kind of deal!
