Scrap Happy Saturday

On Sunday

Garden view from the deck
I drove back to the lake on Saturday with another van load of fabric scraps and project boxes, making sure that my box of green scraps and the Loosey Goosey RSC project box were easily accessible because Angela announced that GREEN is the RSC color of the month earlier that morning.

Once I arrived and unloaded, I set up a makeshift sewing station in the kitchen/family room, so glad I had cut my green scraps for Loosey Goosey early last month. And, no, I don't have a secret line to Angela; I just got lucky!

Temporary setup
Cutting and ironing on the kitchen counter.

And you can probably see in both photos a bit of libation was involved.

I had difficulty sleeping alone in a strange house with strange noises last night.  And the fact I forgot to set the thermostat to heat didn't help.  So I was up and at'em early this morning, getting those geese lined up for their column.

Mr. Hillside will join me today.  He's bringing the Koala table, among other things.  Maybe by Monday I will have a proper sewing spot.

I'm late coming to the party, but will link up with Angela at soscrappy for Scrap Happy Saturday.

Looks like you've found a happy place, in more ways than one.

  5. Sorry to hear that you had trouble sleeping with the new house noises. The up early isn't really that unusual for you, though, is it?! Here's hoping Mr. Hillside arrived safely with more of your sewing needs. Happy arranging!!
