Tuesday at the Lake

It's a good thing I managed to do this yesterday ...

Fabric shelves up in new studio
I even managed to weed out some fabric I knew I wouldn't use to pass on to other local quilters ...

Fabric rejects
... and I managed to finish up my green Loosey Goosey column ...

... and the RSC Sampler block.

Because today I did this ...

3 Hours in the ER
While surveying the acreage with lawncare guys, I slipped on a rock, hyperextended my knee, almost fell into the lake, and broke my right ankle in the process.  At least there were 3 strong guys there to help me up the little hill!

Now I can't even go down to the studio or sew ... or drive so I'll have to ride back to house 1 in the truck with DH.  Will see an orthopedic specialist back in Nashville.  Hoping it will just need a cast, no surgery.

  6. OMG! What you lacked in luck by hurting yourself, you made up for with timing in composing a great (but sad) post. So sorry to hear that you’re going to need at least a cast. I hope you heal quickly and comfortably so that you’re on your feet - literally - soon. xo
