Countdown to Christmas

I know, I've been absent quite a bit lately.  No explanation except possibly laziness.  So to make up for that, I plan/hope to post daily in December.  Kind of like a blogger's Advent calendar.  Speaking of which, one of my very talented grand-daughter-in-laws, who is a wizard with paper crafts, made us an Advent Tree.

The drawer for Day 1 revealed a beautiful ornament that featured our sweet great-granddaughter.

Now I have no excuse; there needs to be a tree to hang it on.  Stay tuned because there will be excitement in the studio, as well.

  1. that is very neat - your daughter in law made that really well - I need to get my tree up - one thing or another keeps delaying me!

  3. I don't put up a tree but I have ornaments hanging anywhere I can hook them on through the house.

  6. I've missed your updates. Glad to know that all is okay. The advent tree is a neat idea. (There's a meme that says, "According to my chocolate advent calendar it was Christmas Eve two days ago.")
